A list of profiles will appear at the top of the Start menu. In Windows 7: click the Windows Start button and type %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ in the Search box at the bottom of the Start menu, without pressing Enter. Find the the configuration file, which doesn't show in the normal windows search. At least about this you can trust the Mozilla Foundation. This said, you have to follow three, increasingly tricky steps. It is extremely complicated I managed to do it on Windows 7 and Windows Vista, but I haven't tried in any other version. If this combination repulses you, as it should repulse all righteous men, there is a way to make Firefox work. The sad thing is that you'll probably be all right if you have Internet Explorer and QuickTime. I am not sure about other browsers in any case, install Totem. Use Firefox, instal Totem, and you should be all right. So, point first: lets see what your operating system is: Of course, you can always download the MIDI and play it outside of the browser but that can be annoying in the long run. So, it would help a lot if you could listen to MIDI files, something which was a given with older browsers, but which has become more and more of a challenge nowadays. As a matter of fact, soon, every piece whose melody has survived will have its MIDI file, and we'll work on getting the right melody on the contrafacta as well. All right, as you have probably noticed, a growing amount of pages in this section have the original melody as a MIDI file.
